What a great story! I own a dive bar on the Oregon Coast and my daughter wants nothing to do with this business since she’s grown up in it. My succession plan likely includes one of my bartenders who has been with me since the beginning. He’s like the son I never had. A proper ring disposal guide poster. What a great heartwarming story. One day, I’ll take drive down to see the new renovations and the tribute wall. Skip was a great guy. I’ve only had a few conversations with him, but always an enjoyable time. He genuinely made everyone feel like family when they entered his place. He truly deserves this legacy. Oh wow! Skip sounds like an interesting guy full of peace and love! We could use more of that right now!

As young people we never forget our first bars we just hung out at! Ours was the Queens hotel in Seaforth Ontario Canada! Good times! I never went to bars much & I don’t really drink, but this story still moved me to tears. A proper ring disposal guide poster. It must be because sometimes, decent folk like Skip remind me of the good there still IS out there, despite so much evidence to the contrary. People who are all about peace and love, leave an indelible mark on the world, even after they’ve left it. Peace and Love win, everytime. You came in to Skip’s life for a reason. Never forget that and keep those memories alive. Sure he appreciated you more than anyone can realize.
