How wonderfully proud you must feel of both of them, two beautiful boys, it’s also taught me something as I though alopecia was caused by stress I didn’t know that really young children got it, thank you . Mother-of-the-freaking-Year. I can’t imagine how difficult it was for her to sit on her hands until her son was ready to accept her offer to help explain his condition to the class. I adore this! She’s teaching her kids to educate other children which both empowers them and creates such a better atmosphere for all. Such handsome little boys!. My oldest son also has Alopecia. We started seeing balding patches at 3. He’s almost 15 now. He’s more like your younger son, quiet and reserved but also would talk about his Alopecia with such clear information and answer anyone’s questions. It’s a special person that can change not minds, but hearts. Your son is a very special kiddo. Way to go mama!. Keri Beri. What an incredible, strong, beautiful young leader. He’s already changing lives so powerfully. And thank you, mama bear, for respecting his boundaries until he was ready for you to step in.. Ignorance is worse than any disease. Barbara Ruth. But it seems like heroism IS contagious. Way to go, Mom!. So many children are better human beings than adults. What amazing kids she has!. Those boys might not have hair but they have smiles that light up a room. Amazing parenting is right!. If only we were intelligent enough to accept each other and also not teach our kids to be discriminatory. I have a strong feeling that kids become like that after emulating our behaviour, i feel they are a lot more accepting and caring without our inte. Educating kids on differences is so important. Start young so they aren’t scared or become bullies. This is an awesome way to teach them.. OMG hero! What little heroes! Thanks also, Mama Bear. You are doing it right. . As someone born without a neck due to Klippel-Feil, I resonate and really appreciate this mother’s parenting.
