How lucky in life you both had such a profound friendship that still lasts today as you speak of your dear friend. Even though I KNEW the ending would be sad, I was not ready! What a beautiful story.. Thank you for sharing Mickey with us. You two blessed each other’s lives, and for that I’m thankful because we are in dire need in having to be reminded of our humanity. Please continue honoring his memory. Thank you for sharing this story with us. For opening your heart and ours, and giving us a new appreciation for palm trees. Beautiful story. So sad that our city of 65,000 does not have a local book store. We had a Barnes and Noble but it got destroyed in a tornado back in March and they are not going to rebuild. Such a sad thing to not be able to go into a brick and mortar store to buy. Thank you, I really didn’t want to order through Amazon. I can’t ship this to Canada!? This surprises me. Christal Clear. I have both of your books on hold from the library!. Got my book yesterday from a local in Kiama, NSW Australia . Bought this for a dear friend who is a nurse. She loves it. Great books have the first two. Got my two books in Barnes & Noble today!
