So sad that religion can’t coexist with science, literature, and philosophy for some. I’m always suspicious of anything that requires me to be in the dark to believe in it. Anyhoo, Waqas is a little cutie!. Isn’t it tragic that her parents had the best intentions? For them, turning to conservative religious ideas was surely something they were convinced would improve their lives and their childens lives. There is nothing more dangerous than good intention. Reminds me why mandatory school/education laws up to a certain age are important; leaving it up to families of any faith or society encourages suppression, particularly for girls. Edited to clarify: education as I define it here does include homescho. So the remaining parts are how they got back together, got married, and have a loving marriage full of mutual respect and adventures. Right?. Ashley Hinton. So invested in her story.
