Alysia PalmThis is literally such a beautiful story of immigration and family . I will always love different cultures regardless of the worldly hate that spews for those from outside countries . A happy ending too Noelle Jacinta my grandmother also took the leap and left her family for America, she worked her butt off to be able to sponser her children after a few years. These are the stories that get to me every time. Immigrants are the toughest people I know Meggie KitzelSo glad my country welcomed you. What a blessing to have 2 loving parents Nate DennisI absolutely hate that many who are opposed to immigration is because they believe the lies that people are only doing it to wreak havoc and fear. And yet, the majority of the mass shootings/attacks are perpetrated by those who were born and raised her. Melissa Shultz-EgliShe sacrificed everything to give you all a better life. Sometimes the most hurt people have the biggest heart . This man to me IS a man. So much love and responsibility goes into raising children, regardless of biology. It’s who raises you that makes you their child. . Your Dad sounds a lot like my Dad. My dad was also a single dad, loving, strict (on me), but also loved to spoil us. Always taking in my cousins when their dads weren’t around. We teased him, because of how he easily would tear up, if we made him proud Holy moly that is one good looking family! He must have worked so hard, unimaginable. What a loving man, the greatest kind.. What a man. He must have also really loved your mother, to accept her child like so.. Bless and bless you two for sharing your family with us. Your father is an amazing human who deserves recognition of his fatherhood! Jesus saved my life classic cap

I think when things like this happens to families, they look at the big stuff more than the Chris WallsI was feeling sorry for myself about our family’s water being interrupted for several days due to a weather event until I read this…thank you for sharing! Valerie Weiler-HinchAlthough they walk amongst us every day, we so rarely have the privilege of knowing the stories of new arrivals and the many struggles they have faced to leave their homelands and everything/one they know and love to start again.
