Your family is beautiful and perfect. Those who have a child or sibling with a disability know your struggles, and we admire and respect you for your abundant love. My daughter in law has CP, she is 46. Although I didn’t know her parents when she was growing up, I know through stories and pictures that they did much the same as you and your hubby, making life adapt to what he in your case needed to enjoy that what we all take for granted. Well done! And as for my daughter in law, her CP affected her legs, feet and such. But because of the wonderful Shriner Organization, she is able to walk with a walker, and has graduated college and has a successful job as a councilor for people with alcohol and drug problems, and she is married to my son! We love her for her beautiful laughter, crazy ideas Don’t give up. Labrador Im right beside you when its too hard to look back poster

You are strong excellent parents. It’s hard to constantly be on the ready. You are both doing it with grace and not leaving the other one behind. So important for your children and your partnership. God bless you both. I was not ready to cry this hard. You are incredible parents. Hudson is your wonderful gift. I too have a son with cerebral palsy. He is 100% dependent on those around him to do EVERYTHING. He turns 28 in June. He is married. He lives on his own. He has a beautiful 18 month old daughter. In those early days when it was so so hard, I never dreamed he would be where he is now. You got this. Oh my goodness this is amazing! As a mom of two kids whose dad barely wants to see them at all I find it incredible & so heartwarming that there are such amazing dads in this world. And please know that its ok to just be a mom sometimes, the world won’t crash down. Its ok to breathe & stop & enjoy. Labrador Im right beside you when its too hard to look back poster

I have cerebral palsy. You two are being the parents your son, and all children, need and deserve. Hudson has such pure joy on his face in every picture. There is no greater gift a parent can give a child than joy. This is everything. Having supportive parents when you’re born different makes all the difference in the world. I was blessed with parents who gave it their all as well.. He’s beautiful and seems like such a happy little boy. Just keep doing what you’re doing. He can live a long sweet life.. Makes me think of our little boy who also had CP. It was quite severe for him. He required care 24/7. We have been missing him for over 15 years now. We would have done everything for him forever. He was the Mighty Quinn. Sometimes a parent needs to save their child’s life. Sometimes a parent just needs to live life with their child.
