Laura Bay Wallace I’ve had people do this at times too and then I’ve had boyfriends who’ve put them on claiming I needed them and I did but was too embarrassed to ask them to and also to that I had lost that much more hearing. I have one cochlear implant now and now my other ears hearing is significantly worse so am struggling again, actually I’ve always struggled but it’s much harder now, I should problem get my other ear done too. I find I have less friends now, people must feel awkward around me I guess as I hear ok one on one but not with multiple people talking as my brain can’t keep up.
