Bless your Father’s heart, a lesser man could have held onto anger and left your Mother where she was. So grateful you had the time with her to build such wonderful memories. Much love to your whole family! We grieve with you as you experience feelings of loss all over again. Salem sanctuary for wayward cats ferals and familiars welcome est 1962 poster. I’m grateful you shared your beautiful story of memories made with your mom when she was well. My mom has frontotemporal dementia, so I know your struggle. What you’re doing for your mom and yourself is so beautiful. I’m personally part of a few Facebook support groups for kids of parents with early dementias. They’ve been really helpful for me, they might also be helpful for anyone reading with the same experience. I felt that way after my Dad had a stroke. I wanted all his caregivers to know who he was before and why he was so special.

I completely understand. Don’t stop. It sounds lovely that you found her and she got the treatment she needed. And also your father sounds like a kind and generous man. I’d love to read your blog. This is my biggest fear as a mother. I feel like I need to love them extra now, and do extra little things now, so that they’ll always remember all the little things if or when my mind is no longer mine. Your mom sounds exceptional but your dad.
