I do not do Amazon … ever. All I use them for is to find good dealers and good ideas. Then I buy from the actual supplier or producer.. In case you prefer Target over Amazon and planned to buy extras for gifts: Target currently has Humans for $21, and a buy two get one deal on books. So $42 gets you three books on either site.. There is not a single argument in favor of funding Amazon, I love what you do, but this is a HUGE disappointment. Is there a way to get your book off somewhere other than Amazon? I understand Amazon’s perks as an online vendor and shipper, but I don’t want to give Bezos more money.. Judith Smith. I was happy to pay full price at my local bookstore! Just buy it from your local bookstore. They will be so happy you did.. They figure it’s a great draw to get people to amazon!!. For shame, HONY you really should be promoting small, independent bookstores as the place to purchase the ‘Humans’ book vs. Amazon. Is there a way to donate to HONY? I’d happily donate the extra $21 to a fund. I’ve already bought 2, but at this price I can buy a couple more. They can be saved for gifts. They won’t go out of style! . I’d rather pay more for the book at a small store than make Jeff Bezos even richer.. I will gladly pay more to avoid purchasing anything from Amazon. What an unfair way to compete with independent bookstores! I’m disappointed that this is promoted time after time.
