That sounds similar to my story! My teachers chipped in for my college applications, my prom dress, among other things and I will forever be greateful for their kindness. I hit a standstill when I graduated till DACA came around and those same teachers called me to offer financial assistance. I’m so sorry for the battles you were placed in but you have my admiration and respect for the ways you have triumphed. That’s exactly what the teachers should have done.
