Susan Bates. I loved your podcast and felt inspired by the people you talked to and the stories you shared. But it also made me sad sometimes, because I didnt grow up in a close-knit family, and the German culture that I’ve met throughout my life was also rather. I would love to hear a podcast about being motherhood and how you face its highs and lows every day. Loving your Podcasts, it’s the only way for me to walk now. I get lost in your words and wisdom and forget about how cold it is or how tired I am. Enjoyed your book as well. I grew up in an era where my Grandmother taught me that I was a representative of her, so act like you know that!!. I would love you to speak about ethics in politics, how to stay honest in such an environment and what kind of moral dilemmas you faced during Barack’s presidency. In the same vein, it would be nice to hear about what you had to give up in terms of The moon waxing crescent first quarter poster

I loved the episode Across the Generations, where you interviewed your White House interns Kristin, Yene, and Chynna. It would be great to hear more stories about people in areas of service, civil service, military service, nonprofits, cultural organ. Cheryl Durham. Community engagement and social justice. I love hearing your discussions about those topics. I would love you to have Emmanuel Acho on to discuss the “uncomfortable conversations with a black man”! He’s amazing and is dedicated to educating white people on the black injustices and perspective. We also need to focus on the people who will come ahead of us especially our children right now. Linda Carr. Teach by example is how I was raised and raised my Children. It also was the way I was at work. Karla Pegus-Taylor. I would love to hear discussions on aging and how the elderly are so marginalized and dismissed by society. Their stories matter. Also, as an aging woman (nearing 60) discussions about staying vital and living well at this stage in life would be veryThe moon waxing crescent first quarter poster

I’m so happy there will be a second season. After reading Isabel Wilkersons Caste, my discussions about racism have really changed. I’d like to hear more discussions with the author and more about how to change the ingrained structure of caste in America. Love you, Michelle. I would like discussion about women supporting each other. Being happy for your sister and her accomplishments Not being jealous or envious of each other. Work together to build up your sisterhood, be your sisters keeper. Your podcast was very enjoyable! I’d love to hear you talk about the current anti-intellectualism propagated by conservatives. Why all of a sudden we are made to feel ashamed for wanting to learn, for having curiosity. I loved your conversations during season one. I would like an episode with a conversation with youth on issues that impact their future. Too often adults speak for young people or say “one day you will lead.” I think their time is now.
