I’d rather pay more for the book at a small store than make Jeff Bezos even richer.. I will gladly pay more to avoid purchasing anything from Amazon.. What an unfair way to compete with independent bookstores! I’m disappointed that this is promoted time after time. Put it out to the hive mind. Promtimg Amazon here is cringeworthy. Please do better. Amazon makes billions at the expense of humans and communities. By selling through Amazon, you are supporting, condoning and excusing the exploitation of humans and the destruction of small business. It is a real disappointment.

If you’re debating on buying this book, I would strongly encourage you do. I loved it. Brandon did a phenomenal job. The stories are all incredible. Each and every one makes you appreciate what you have a little more. It definitely made me realize. I absolutely loved this book. Grabbing a couple more copies for Xmas gifts. It’s fantastic. Just received mine and love it! Great quality book in material and content. Thank you for capturing the story of these people around the world that we’d otherwise ever meet. My favorite are the quick stories. Madison Gardner. It is a wonderful book and was pleased to pay full price for the 3 I purchased. I get all the corporate hate, and I also try to support local, where I can. Everyone needs a Mickey in their life, just to be told you’re cared for and loved unconditionally is such an important thing. You might have felt like a burden back then but Mickey needed you too. What a beautiful relationship . If you ever find a person like this, cherish them and do everything not to lose them. How wonderful that you found this man to guide you & not only be your friend & mentor, he also, loved you. Not everyone finds that. Oh! Thank God (or the universe or whatever you believe in) that he was there. So thankful for people like that who embody comfort and acceptance and love. So thankful. Shelly Kinyon.
