She was incredibly intelligent, witty, well versed and quick, she liked books (and owned a few strange ones) , had lots of friends, played brilliant practical jokes, loved to laugh and make others laugh, she was a lady, but was also outspoken, ever kind and accepting, she danced at partys (and was often the life of any she attended), loved her dogs, and her house always smelled like Red Delicious apple skin and triscuits to me as a kid. It was exactly what I needed it when I needed it when it wasn’t coming from anywhere else like it should have been. She was warm. She was safe.

Buying a parent something big after all the sacrifices they’ve made is in line with one of the best feelings in the world, for all involved. Excellent work on following through. You never remember being poor. This is a testament of love and contentment and a whole family unit that focused on being happy instead of being affected by all that’s as happening around them.
