I feel my mom the same way. I was 500 miles away when she passed, but I felt it, and I knew. You’re so lucky to have such a strong bond that doesn’t change just because she’s passed on. And your kids are so lucky to have you. I am so sorry for your loss. Yes I am the crazy cat lady poster. Your mother sounds wonderful. And whaat a daring woman! I too was fortunate enough to have a wonderful mother. She died 7 years ago, and I still miss her everyday, although the pain is not as acute. I love it when she shows up in my dreams. I’m so sorry for your loss.My son will be like you one day. He’s out only child and is sensitive and feels things so deeply ever since he was little. Hs only 8 now but has such a fear of losing us.

I worry he’ll be so heartbroken once we are gone and doesn’t have any siblings to help him through. Hopefully he finds someone, good life partner to help him through. You sound like you had a great example to lead from. Yes I am the crazy cat lady poster. I know your mother visits you and let’s you feel her presence. I tell my son all the time, love never dies. Feeling this. My mom is still alive and healthy, thankfully, but she’s aging and I know that day is coming. I’m tearing up just thinking about it because I know it will be the worst day of my life. Because I know that no one will ever love me as much as she does and I don’t think I can ever love anyone as much as I love her.
