Just got my book today and plan on devouring it tonight. It was a gift to ourselves!. I was and I will! Actually glad I’m not buying it from Amazon.. Got mine last night but they won’t let me have it till Christmas. So sad that our city of 65,000 does not have a local book store. We had a Barnes and Noble but it got destroyed in a tornado back in March and they are not going to rebuild. Such a sad thing to not be able to go into a brick and mortar store to buy a. I wish all the great teachers who are wallowing in doubt could read this. Pandemic teaching is robbing them of personal contact with their students. They can’t be the teachers they have always been. It is soul-shattering. I wish they knew how much they. I was blessed to have a few of these teachers over the years who may not have even known how much their kindness and extra attention positively impacted my life. I would not be here today, really, without them.. Teachers are so under appreciated. They are helping create the minds that become doctors and scientists. They are saving lives. They are mentors and role models. I’ll never understand why they aren’t paid more.. Thank you so much for sharing your story. My daughter Jojo was exactly the same—huge smile hiding the pain. An idea!. These 3 amazing lives come full circle, it was meant to be. A story of pure and selfless love. Thank you for sharing this heartbreaking but powerful story. We should all be so lucky as to experience such love in our lifetime xx. This, this whole sharing of lives is heartbreaking, beautiful and so necessary for our human hearts, our ‘conditions’…thank you, so very much, for taking me into your life, their lives, and expanding ours, even if just for a few minutes, our humaniti.
